Kelly Scott

My name is Kelly Scott. I am originally from Lockeport but spent many years in the Halifax/Dartmouth area. I moved back to Shelburne County 4 years ago and worked in a group home for the past couple of years. I started working for Little People's Place in September 2022 in our Afterschool Program.

I entered the ECE field in 2007 as a volunteer and was quickly offered a position as a floater which allowed me to work in all classrooms with ages children aged 18 months-5 years.

I enjoyed working with children so much that I enrolled in night classes at NSCECE in order to obtain my ECE diploma, which I received in 2014.

In my spare time I like to paint and bake, as well as spend time with my son who is 2 1/2 years old. I am thankful to be apart of the wonderful team of educators here at Little People's Place.
