Infant Room

Our infant room prvides a safe, loving, and nurturing place that children can come to be engaged in learning. This room will help children have social experiences that are both hands-on and meaningful and in a constructive learning environment. Activities and events will be individualized to meet a child’s individual needs and development. As an educator, my role is to help facilitate children to learn and grow in knowledge and to meet developmentally appropriate milestones. Spending time outside, exploring, and being physically active is important. We offer many open ended materials and loose parts to explore, as well as lots of sensory experiences and activities to participate in each day. We believe playing outside will influence children to be leaders, better communicators, to be flexible, and strengthen their bodies. Time outside will encourage lots of opportunities to problem solve and to be empathetic, and to be free to move physically for good health.
