Your Child is in Great Hands
The Little People's Place of Shelburne, Nova Scotia was incorporated in 1979 as a non-profit society and is licensed to operate as a day care centre, in accordance with the regulations set out in the Nova Scotia Day Care Services Act. The work of organizing and running The Little People's Place is a joint effort between the board of directors, the parents, and the staff.
The Little People's Place provides quality care to children from ages 18 months to 10 years of age in a safe and nurturing environment. The child care is delivered by qualified individuals who lead the children through fun and educational programs to help develop social, emotional and cognitive skills as they journey through their early years.
The centre has two locations in Shelburne: The King Street Centre, which houses it's after-school programs and preschool rooms and the St. Andrew's Lane location which has an infant room, 2 toddler rooms as well as the transition room.
In 2018, The Little People's Place celebrated its 40th anniversary.
