Quality Matters

Quality Matters is the provincial quality improvement
program for licensed child care centres in Nova
Scotia.
It is based on evidence-based research regarding
the importance of quality early childhood education
experiences for children, and informed by
international practices to support quality
improvements in licensed child care centres.
The purpose of Quality Matters is to ensure that
each centre is qualified in Compliance,
Accountability, and Program Quality. (DEECD,
Province of Nova Scotia, 2020)

We are actively involved each year with this program
and are always working towards a better future.
