Erin Locke

Assistant Director/Facility Supervisor-King Street Location

In 2005, I graduated from NSCC Burridge Campus with a Level 2 diploma in Early Childhood Education. In August of that year, I began working at Little People's Place, and in the blink of an eye, I have been a member of this wonderful family for 15 years. Working at Little People's Place has never been just a job for me. I am very fortunate to work with an amazing group of knowledgeable, loving, and supportive women who are more than just co-workers to me. The past 15 years has brought a lot of changes to our centre, but our quality of care has never changed. Being part of the growth and development of young children is something I personally find very rewarding. Living in our small community and working in childcare is something not many get to experience. When children leave the centre we still continue to see them frequently and some often return as employees or volunteers.
